Sunday School
We love kids at the North Branford Congregational Church!
At North Branford Congregational Church, children and youth are treasured members of our faith community, and we joyfully embrace that Jesus loves children. Our Sunday School program is designed to nurture their spiritual growth in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Each Sunday, our caring teachers and helpers guide children through engaging lessons, activities, and discussions that help them explore Bible stories, learn Christian values, and apply their faith in everyday life. We offer separate classes for our younger learners and our older children, ensuring that each age group receives age-appropriate guidance and meaningful experiences. Children begin the service with their families, participating in worship and listening to the special message for children, before being dismissed to their Sunday School classes. On Communion Sundays (the first Sunday of each month), Sunday School begins at the start of the service so children can return in time to join the congregation for Holy Communion. Our program also includes memorable annual events that bring the whole church community together. In the summer, we celebrate Children’s Sunday, highlighting the faith and talents of our youngest members. In December, our intergenerational Christmas Pageant allows children, youth, and adults to share in the joy of the season through storytelling, music, and fellowship. At NBCC, our Sunday School program is more than a class—it’s a place where children grow in faith, build friendships, and experience the love of God in a welcoming, supportive community.
